A- Nombre total de combinaisons possibles pour des mots comportant un nombre donné de lettres:

* Bien que ces nombres semblent être suffisamment grands, si l'on soustrait toutes les combinaisons identiques et celles qui sont imprononçables ces nombres se réduisent beaucoup.
(Par conséquent n'espérez pas trop de disponibilité pour les marques de moins de cinq lettres)

B- Permutation de lettres

Si vous essayez de trouver toutes les permutations possibles de lettres dans le mot "coca-cola", vous trouverez par le calcul 335634 combinaisons.(Essayez de trouver combien de mots seront identiques)

Par exemple, si nous essayons avec le vocable COCA nous obtiendrons ces 22 mots:
